Photography has always been about capturing places that make us stop for a moment. Every image in my portfolio is one I personally waited for—sometimes hours—for the perfect light.

Annapolis Harbor wakes beneath a soft October sunrise, just days after the boat show docks cleared from the water. In the quiet blue hour, sailboat masts stand in silhouette as orange and pink light spreads across the horizon, reflecting on the calm harbor below. This photograph captures a fleeting moment of stillness, color, and coastal charm in one of Maryland’s most beloved waterfront towns.
One of my biggest goals to Italy was to photograph the Tuscany countryside I had imagined - rolling hills, vineyards, cypress trees, and that timeless sense of calm the region is known for. I wanted to capture something authentic, not just a famous overlook, but a real working countryside landscape. My hope is that you’ll feel a little of Tuscany’s warmth, peace, and timeless beauty every day.
Some mornings as a photographer are all about patience. On this cool October morning in Annapolis, I arrived long before sunrise hoping a passing cold front would create interesting light. For what felt like forever, the harbor remained dark and quiet. Then a narrow band of orange light appeared beneath the clouds, illuminating the horizon as sailboat masts stood silhouetted against the sky.
Sometimes the most memorable photographs aren't captured in the first light—they're earned through patience. After waiting beneath heavy October clouds, the sunrise finally emerged between Annapolis Harbor's sailboat masts, bathing the quiet marina in warm golden light for one unforgettable moment.
Sometimes the most memorable discoveries are the ones you never planned to find. Before entering the Vatican Museums, the graceful curves of the Momo Staircase revealed a masterpiece of light, movement, and design—proof that extraordinary beauty often exists beyond the famous works we come to see.
After a long day of travel and one final walk through Venice, quiet beauty appeared where I least expected it. Reflections danced across the still canal beneath a deep blue sky, reminding me that the most unforgettable moments often come only after choosing to keep going.
I love talking about my photographs.
